Privacy Policy
Draft — last updated August 2026. Not yet reviewed by an attorney.
This page explains what information Catalina Freedive collects through this site, why, and how you can control it.
What we collect
When you sign up, we collect your email address and, optionally, your name, phone number, which excursion types you’re interested in, and any trip idea you write in yourself. We don’t collect payment information on this site — there’s nothing to buy yet.
How we use it
We use your information to reach out about Catalina Freedive trips as they take shape, and to help decide what trips to run in the first place based on what people ask for. We do not sell or rent your information to third parties.
Text messages (SMS)
If you check the “text me trip updates” box and provide a phone number, you agree to receive recurring automated marketing text messages from Catalina Freedive (trip announcements, signup reminders) at that number. Consent to receive texts is never a condition of signing up — you can sign up with just an email address and skip the phone number entirely.
Message and data rates may apply. Message frequency varies. Reply STOP at any time to opt out of text messages, or HELP for help. Carriers are not liable for delayed or undelivered messages.
Your choices
You can ask us to update or delete your information, or unsubscribe from emails or texts, at any time by contacting us (see below) or by replying STOP to any text message.
Where your information lives
Signup information is stored in a private database we use to plan trips. It is not publicly visible and is not shared with other companies for their own marketing purposes.
